Guam, the largest and southernmost island of the Mariana archipelago, is the westernmost possession of the United States, and has been since 1898. There is even a third load, belonging to Edward Davis, Captain of John Cook’s ship, the “Bachelor Delight” who left behind some loot in the late 1600’s.
